RENO — On Friday, the Grand Sierra Resort welcomes classic rock guitarist Peter Frampton at 9 p.m. in the Grand Theatre.

Frampton is one of the most celebrated guitarists in rock history. At 16 he was lead singer and guitarist for British teen band the Herd. At 18 he co-founded one of the first super groups, seminal rock act Humble Pie. His fifth solo album, the electrifying “Frampton Comes Alive!” is one of the top-selling live records of all time.

Tickets to the Frampton Comes Alive 35 Tour range in price from $45 to $85.

At 8 p.m. Saturday, the Grand Theatre will host Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlan. This musical extravaganza is more than an auditory treat; it’s a delicate expression of musical greatness that hooks the audience from the start and leaves everyone energized and thoroughly entertained.

Tickets to this event range from $35 to $100 and can be purchased at the Grand Sierra Resort box office or online at www.grandsierraresort.com.
