RENO — The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Sun Valley resident for having a sexual relationship with a girl under the age of 16.
Jose Juarez, 24, was reported to law enforcement when his girlfriend’s father discovered his 15-year-old daughter was pregnant and that Juarez was responsible. Deputies investigated the claim and subsequently placed Juarez under arrest for statutory sexual seduction, which is a felony. Juarez was booked into the Washoe County jail where he is being held on $5,000 bail.
