Learn physics of light at NMA

RENO — At an ART BITE event at noon Friday at the Nevada Museum of Art, physicist Bernhard Bach will provide a general introduction to the optical physics that make Anne Lindberg’s “Andante Green” such a dynamic installation, highlighting the exhibition “Modal Lines.”

This event is free for museum members and with paid admission for the public.

At 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, NMA will hold its annual membership meeting. Members are invited to review the museum’s progress in 2011 as well as vote on the 2012/2013 slate of the board of trustees. Admission is free. Reservations are not required.
