LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 33-year-old Las Vegas police officer suspended without pay and arrested on criminal charges after he was accused of groping women during traffic stops last year has resigned.

The Las Vegas Sun reports John Kingsley Norman tendered his resignation on Tuesday. He is still under internal investigation for allegedly instructing a woman he stopped for a minor traffic violation last June to unclasp her bra while he rubbed her breast. Norman is also accused of coaxing another woman he stopped in December to expose her breast before he let her go.

Norman joined the force in 2008. He is scheduled to be arraigned on June 25.
