All of the materials were donated by Home Depot and The Scotts Company, which sent representatives to work with the students.
Depoali Middle School was built in 2009 with a number of environmentally conscious features. The school has 373 ground-source heating wells buried 300 feet deep, cool roofing, heat-absorbing window glass and uses 100 percent reclaimed irrigation water.
