Cat Fanciers show, exhibition coming to GSR

RENO — The High Sierra Cat Club and Utah Purebred Cat Fanciers will converge on the Grand Sierra Resort next month for a Cat Fanciers Association Region 2 show and exhibition.

On May 19 and 20, cat lovers will bring their feline favorites to the GSR for competition and camaraderie. Categories for competition include kittens, championship, premiership, household pets and veterans. Early bird entry fees are $60 for the first entry and $45 for second and third entries by April 16. Fees after that date are $65 for a first entry, $55 for second entry and $50 for a third entry. Other entry costs are:

• $170 – “Four-pack” of entries

• $25 – Fifth and additional entries

• $30 – Household pet and veteran entries

• $20 – For sale/exhibition, with competitive entry

• $25 – AOV entries

• $15 – Double cage

• $15 – Grooming space

• $15 – End of row requests

• $25 – Returned check fee
