The concept is easy: the region’s best barbecuers will compete side-by-side to see who has “the best racks on the tracks” and will earn the coveted title of “Ribmaster.”
Attendees will help choose the winner based on the tastiest sauce and most tender meat. Don’t worry. Plenty of napkins will be available.
But that’s not all. Bring the family to watch a free monster truck show featuring the Air Bourne Ranger Monster Truck at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Kids of all ages can try their hand at driving a remote control race car on a 20-foot by 30-foot track for a small fee. Each race lasts about three minutes, with six drivers taking part in each race.
Carson Station will also have free live music on the outdoor stage by Lady & The Tramps from 4 and 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. In addition, dozens of vendors will be on site offering shopping, delicious side dishes and kids’ games.
The Ribmaster Rumble After-Party for adults starts at 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights inside the newly remodeled Carson Station Casino featuring the band Baker Street, drink specials, giveaways and a “Best Racks on the Tracks” contest.
Carson Station’s Ribmaster Rumble will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The awards presentation for the Ribmaster will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
