Armed robbery, shots fired at Town Liquor

RENO — Police are looking for four people involved in an armed robbery at Town Liquor, located at 2640 S. Virginia St.

At 1:18 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the store on a report of an armed robbery with shots fired. Further investigation found that four suspects entered the liquor store, and one suspect selected two bottles of alcohol. The suspects then fled the store without paying for the alcohol. A clerk followed the suspects outside where one suspect fired three shots from handgun at the clerk, who was not injured. The suspects left the area in a maroon mini-van.

The suspect who fired the gun is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5-feet 8-inches tall weighing 190 to 210 pounds with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, a grey baseball cap and a thick necklace.
