SPARKS — The Sparks Police Department would like to remind drivers that the Rock Boulevard exit from I-80 eastbound will be closed for road construction from Sunday at 8 p.m. to Monday, June 11th at 5:30 a.m. Drivers that use that exit on a routine basis are encouraged to find alternate routes. The Nugget Avenue exit will be open during a majority of this time period as a detour but, will be very congested during peak traffic times and will add significant time to your commute.
Please, plan ahead and consider using a different exit or allow extra time for your commute. The Sparks Police Department will have extra patrols in the area during peak traffic times.
