LAS VEGAS (AP) — The parent company of the Epic Poker League has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Federated Sports + Gaming filed the bankruptcy in Maryland late Tuesday. The company was started by former World Series of Poker Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack.

Pollack says in a statement on the Epic Poker League’s website that the company would continue seeking a partner and had been searching since before the filing.

Epic Poker League held three events last year at the Palms casino in Las Vegas. Federated also owns, the Global Poker Index, the Epic Poker game on Facebook, and the Heartland Poker Tour.

Federated bought the Heartland Poker Tour last year. It is expected to continue while the company reorganizes.
