“Ordinary People” is written by Judith Guest, dramatized by Nancy Gilsenan and based on Robert Redford’s 1980 movie directorial debut. This human story follows the accidental death of the older son of an affluent family and the relationships among the bitter mother, the good-natured father and the guilt-ridden younger son.
