Dr. Rick Swecker, D.C. of Family First Chiropractic will be presenting a seminar on the topic of stress management on Monday, July 30th. Dr. Swecker has been helping patients deal with the conditions of stress for several years and is excited to educate the community on how it can affect a person and their health. He states:“When patients come in they all seem to be saying the same thing about stress: they are tired but they can’t sleep, they can’t sleep yet don’t want to get out of bed, they feel as though they don’t have time to do anything so they do nothing with no motivation, they are irritable, on edge, in pain, wore out, run down, burned out, and over everything. I want to help them get past this feeling and deal with stress in a natural way” This seminar will help people in our community lower stress levels on a daily and long term basis. They will learn exactly what stress is, why we actually need some of it in our lives, and what we can do to combat being overly or chronically stressed.
