The Tahoe Trail 100K requires athletes to bike through a 2-loop 50 kilometer course placed in the gorgeous Sierra Nevadas. The terrain offers challenges such as rocky summits and pine forests, and also pleasantries such as breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe. During this race, bikers have the option of participating in the full 100K alone, cutting the course in half for a 50K bike, tackling the 100K as part of a relay team, or riding with a teammate on a tandem bike. Participants can qualify for the Leadville Trail 100 MTB by competing in the 100K event. The Leadville Trail 100 MTB is the most well-known and prestigious mountain bike race in American and qualifying for it is a great accomplishment!
