Feds grant Nevada Real ID extension
The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has been granted a Real ID Act extension by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that will allow Nevada's current driver's license to be accepted for federal purposes until Dec. 31, 2009. The extension was a part of the final Real ID rule published by DHS two weeks ago.
